January 2007 Update
The city Public Works
Department has begun work on upgrading the Evergreen Memorial Historic
Cemetery. This work will include replacement of missing curbs,
rehabilitation of surrounding streets and construction of a storm drain.
They will also be installing a waterline, sidewalks and streetlights to
the area. Thank you to our great city for coming through and helping
us to restore this area!
Once
the work is completed by the city the next phase of the project will begin
which will be installing a fence around this area. Also, work is
continuing on restoring and resetting stones and monuments. Stay
tune for future updates! |
