Leslie Brown
is a faculty member at several Inland Empire colleges and received
the honor of being voted faculty member of the year and advisor of
the year at both Riverside Community College and Mount San Jacinto
Community College in 2001. She was also nominated and received
into Who’s, Who of American Teachers in 2002. She is the
gallery director for Riverside Community Colleges Landis Art
Center Gallery.
Leslie's BFA is from Carnegie Mellon University and MA
from The University of New Mexico. She is a respected painter and
printmaker and educator in Southern California whose work is
included in several private and public collections throughout the
United States. She has received National Endowment Funding as
Artist in Residence at Dorland Mountain Arts Colony and a
fellowship from the University of New Mexico to study at Tamarind
Printmaking Institute. She has been an Artist in
Residence since 2001 at Corona Heritage Park,
in Corona, CA.
