Minutes of September 16-18, 2004 Reunion
Great Lakes, Illinois
Meeting called to order by Chairman Norm Mikkelsen.
The Pledge of Allegiance was made. Norm Mikkelsen made the benediction.
Secretary Schulz read the minutes of the last meeting which were approved as
written. Joe Venovich provided a written financial report indicating that the
Association is solvent though we have had some high expenses recently and the
"kitty" is low. Historian, Bob Ciereck, made a call for more historical pictures
and documents to be viewed at our future reunions. It was recognized that Norm
and Val organized a fine reunion and they were applauded vigorously by the
group.
Based on a proposal made by Tom Knapp at the 2002 reunion to plan the locations
of the reunions two years ahead, it was only required to select a location for
2006. The location of the 2005 reunion as selected in 2003 is Nashville, Tenn.
hosted by George Rose. Nominations were then opened for the location for the
2006 reunion. After much discussion and many suggestions there was no firm
commitment from anyone to host the 2006 reunion. It was decided to select the
2006 reunion during the 2005 reunion in Nashville.
The floor was then opened for nominations and voting for the 2005 Officers.

Joe Venovich announced he would collect dues after the meeting. Then John Schulz
volunteered to put all the pictures he had taken during the reunion on a CD and
mail each attendee a copy. He requested pictures from other attendees that would
be added to the CD. A motion was made from the floor and approved that he would
be reimbursed for the costs.
Door prizes were then drawn. All attendees
were eligible and most everyone won something because there were a great many
door prizes. Another round of applause for Norm and Val for an OUTSTANDING 2004
reunion.
Motion to adjourn. Motion Carried.
Respectfully
John Schulz – Secretary
